Cecilia Rawlins Fund

The Cecilia Rawlins Fund (CRF) was established to honor esteemed principal Cecilia Rawlins, who retired in 2007 after 15 years at the helm of Wiley International Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Ms. Rawlins selflessly provided assistance to families in need throughout her career and believed in nurturing the whole child. This fund is to ensure her commitment to our children and families continues at Wiley.

Band Together NC

Band Together is an amazing story full of hope, optimism and a dose of rebellion. Band Together was imagined by Triangle community leaders as a response to the tragedies of September 11, 2001. The vision has evolved from raising funds to support international tragedies to raising funds and awareness with a special nonprofit partner every year. Thanks to the tireless efforts of thousands of volunteers, generous corporate and individual sponsors, dedicated board members, musicians and the generosity of our community, Band Together has risen to be a powerful partner to nonprofits in the Triangle Area.

Caring Community Foundation

Since 2001, Caring Community Foundation has provided nearly 2.3 million in emergency financial assistance to cancer patients in need. The help we give is only possible because of the generosity of people like you—some of whom were affected by cancer themselves and some who simply understand the power of making a difference in the lives of others.

Friends Of Wake Guardian Ad Litem

In 1983, the North Carolina General Assembly established the Office of Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Services as a division of the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts. Pursuant to G.S. 7B-601, when a petition alleging abuse or neglect of a juvenile is filed in district court, the judge appoints a volunteer Guardian ad Litem advocate and an attorney advocate to provide team representation to the child. All Guardian ad Litem advocates are trained, supervised, and supported by program staff in each county of the state. To learn more, visit the websites for Wake GAL and NC Courts GAL.
